Saving on Exterior Painting-09′ Denver Hail Storm

Several areas of Denver and the Front Range of Colorado received a couple intense hail storms this summer. The majority of work is replacing roofs affected by the hail, some of which was golf-ball size, coupled with high winds. During these destructive storms, a few tornadoes were spotted, causing the golf-ball size hail to act as a sub-machine gun spray in areas off Smokey Hill Rd. and C-470 toll road.

Who was affected most by this storm as most roofs are needed replaced, are those newer homes with vinyl siding. Punching holes in siding, as if the neighborhood was sprayed with bullets on several sides of the homes.

Painting a few of these, we have determined how we can save insurance companies, and the homeowners a large amount of exterior painting costs normally involved with such jobs. Knowing that several sides of the homes need to be replaced, little masking is needed, since siding will be coming down and replaced, not having to mask off much of the vinyl. On a normal size home where just the trim is to be painted, not having to mask off damaged vinyl can see a savings of up to 30% of normal exterior painting costs.

District Court Rules in Favor of E-Verify Executive Order

On Wednesday, a federal court in Maryland ruled in favor of the E-Verify mandate for federal contractors, first issued by the Bush Administration. The order requires all contractors to verify the workplace eligibility of new hires, but it’s been delayed four times – once by the Bush Administration and three times by the Obama Administration – pending the court’s ruling. The rule is now set to become effective on Sept. 8. There’s a fax on your Action Buffet urging Pres. Obama to prevent any further delays from the rule taking effect.

Also, be sure to read the blog from Dr. James Edwards who co-authored the book “The Congressional Politics of Immigration Reform” and represents NumbersUSA on Capitol Hill. In his blog, Dr. Edwards details how the House’s proposed health care bill would benefit illegal aliens. If you visit a Town Hall Meeting, be sure you know the loopholes detailed by Dr. Edwards and a report from the Congressional Research Service that would allow illegal aliens to gain coverage under the bill.

Finally, check your Action Buffet for actions that urge your Reps to cosponsor one of the immigration bills in Congress, ask them to protect American workers and urge them to prevent illegal aliens from receiving health care benefits under the Congressional proposals.

Thinking with these keywords and domains, building useful content around them, I should see a far greater improvement in traffic, especially with a total of sixteen url’s linking to one another.

Best Time to Paint

Many often ask when is the best time to paint. 1st. It must be determined whether interior or exterior. We’ll speak of interior for now.
Here is a list best times painting interiors, not listed in importance, as each person’s home may have different priorities.

1. Paint before adding an addition to the family, either a new born or relative. Important using new Green Eco Friendly paint, which has low to no V.O.C’s (volatile odor content) which typically is the ammonias even in water borne latex paints, which can linger for up to 3 years. However, as weeks go by, we get accustomed to the smell.

2. Paint before replacing flooring. It’s cheaper hiring a paint contractor if they paint without having to mask carpet, so if replacing, paint just before new carpet delivery. Easier to paint yourself, without having to mask it as well. Can paint all the way down past carpet, as this can be pulled up away from baseboards, making much concise and thorough job.

3. Paint after purchasing or before selling home When purchasing, home is ordinarily empty, making painting whether hiring a contractor, or doing yourself, less expensive. Painting before moving in, you’ll get to enjoy the paint job for many years to come. Painting before/after moving, will add value keeping up curb appeal even inside.

4. Paint before adding new furniture Paint a room before adding new furniture, and after moving out the old. This is also a good time to vacuum in places you may only get to every 6 months. Painting an empty room makes the ease work flow so much easier. Not having to cover anything, having to walk around.

Painting Exteriors a few above overlap, but will mention others to complete this area of thought.

1st. Order of business painting exteriors is Pressure Cleaning. Pressure Cleaning or sometimes referred to as Power Washing with high pressure washer using outside facet, cleans dirt and debris that is normally not seen by the naked eye. Exterior surfaces act as a magnet to dust and airborne material in the air just as a air filter is to a car. Not trying to peel the paint off with washer, it is used to clean dirt and debris. Further paint removal is accomplished by hand scraping a day or two after cleaning has taken place.

Secondly, Best time to paint exteriors is temperature related. After preparation is accomplished, start painting in the morning time, as it generally warms up throughout the day, allowing to dry properly. Best temps. are any thing above 40 degrees.

Third, Best time to paint exteriors is after purchasing home to get your own personal footprint on property, or just before selling property, keeping value up to current market value. Tends to be a misnomer as it adds value. Yes, it will add value if exterior is in desperate need, but not add value over market value, just what it should normally be valued.

Forth, Best time to paint exteriors is when it actually needs it! Peeling paint is the first clue, but showing blotches or oil spots on siding is another, as paint has dried out enough not protecting any longer. Paint is like a vinyl coating, longer warranties have longer duration of elasticity which gives the paint ability to stretch as the home moves the slightest. Yes, you can wait an additional year, but not recommended as wood can deteriorate unprotected in a years time. Different extreme weather elements can cause boards to curl, rot, and split if not protected with a elastic paint coating.

At it again. Looking around for domains tonight, I think I landed another good one. The dot coms/nets/orgs/infos are the most sought AFTER , although the next one quickly coming up the ranks is ws/standing for web-site. I can only hope AFTER all the good ones are taken, this one will bring some decent money AFTER taxes of course. Knowing the NYTimes purchased ABOUT for $410 Million, I wonder if they’d be interested buying AFTER

After seems to be health related, finding this surrounded by other health related terms on Google’s Keyword Search Tool.

Not sure what I should ask, I’m sure it’s at least a couple/four million, with About.com selling for $410. Interesting that using google’s keyword tool, the term After is medically related, having 100’s of other uses with the term. Knowing the industry this word is related to, the price should be greater than other industries of far lesser values.

Using Keyword Tool, seeing average searches per month/year, a few more have been purchased, hopefully reselling to anyone. Prime candidates could include Google, Yahoo, and or MSN. 1st. Rewarding for insight, vision, and inventiveness, I know this keyword domain is worth every cent, as to the multi-billion dollar company this domain will soon represent, as we move forward, in uncharted waters. Many other “To the point” domains have sold for far greater amounts, even recently.

2nd. As a voter, business owner, capitalist, and investor, and opportunist seeing value in names, this domain will truly will be known, saved as favorites in households across America, Republican or Democrat, with much forethought given to the future of our great land.

3rd. Keyword domains are the words and/or phrases many type into search bars finding information. If the dot com or dot net is active, it will surface to the top organically. (Pardon the pun) Renews Energy phrase receives the second largest request second to renewable energy, which is a very large portion of searches each day and month. Everything energy related is highly picked over, not leaving much left available, especially those of the renewable type.

4th. Having a Keyword domain is better than the company name in most instances, as many type in a general word or phrase to search. That word/phrase being the dot com/net that is typed into search bar gives far more relevancy. When marketing and promoting a keyword domain, that dot com/net will be remembered more fluently as well.

Although the term Eco is a relatively new term, it has been gaining in popularity over the last 10 years as I will describe below;

Eco Paint Specialist’s name came about during the later part of 1993 to early part of 1994, as an S-corp. Eco being an acronym for yes, ecological, but also more concern as to economical, and lesser for environmental starting out. This acronym Eco grew upon us during the airing of the Eco Challenge on Discovery, being 1st. of its kind as you may recall, also giving credence to replacing my debunked Seiko wrist watch, with a Citizen’s Eco Drive during same period. My wife then working as a Senior Staff Geologist for an Environmental consulting firm, and my Dearest father enjoying the comfort and style of Ecco shoes, typically sold at Nordstrom, Inc. The term Eco could not have been any more appropriate, during this era. Developing our business strategy as a local paint contractor, Eco Paint Specialist’s has been on the forefront with our company name. Riding the wave, major paint manufactures have also helped our company name, developing Eco Friendly Paints within their vast array of paint selections starting in the later century. Stores lowered the Volatile Odor Content (V.O.C) especially using interior paints, making air quality safer for those applying, as well as those enjoying newest color decorations, referring to Green Paints.
